Burgundy Mixture (specifically for florists, replacing "Bordeaux mixture").
Does not leave stains on leaves!
Florist's Kit: Used for spraying flowers grown in greenhouses and outdoors. An indispensable helper for the flower grower.
The kit contains 100 g of Copper Sulfate and 125 g of Soda Ash (Sodium Carbonate).
Application: To prepare 10 L of working solution, dissolve 100 g of copper sulfate and 125 g of soda ash. First, dissolve 100 g of copper sulfate in 5 L of water in a separate container, and 125 g of soda ash in 5 L of water in another. Then slowly mix the soda solution with the copper sulfate solution.
Shelf life is unlimited.

* Copper sulfate is the oldest and most effective means of protecting fruit trees, shrubs, grapes, and other plants from various fungal diseases.
The most important component of copper sulfate is copper, which is an essential trace element for most plants and animals. More than a century of experience using copper sulfate confirms its harmlessness to plant growth.
The most common and proven fungicide is Bordeaux Mixture (Bordeaux Liquid), which is prepared by mixing an aqueous solution of copper sulfate and a suspension of freshly slaked lime.
In that compound, lime is used as a neutralizer for the free sulfuric acid contained in copper sulfate, and also as an adhesive (sticker), ensuring the relatively long presence of dried copper sulfate crystals on the leaves and shoots. In addition, the lime suspension provides surface tension on the leaf surface, evenly distributing copper molecules.
Bordeaux mixture is not prepared for future use, because during storage, suspended particles quickly stick together and settle, making it unsuitable for use.
Along with indisputable advantages, Bordeaux mixture unfortunately has disadvantages...
When mixing Bordeaux mixture, straining it is a mandatory and rather inconvenient procedure, performed to avoid clogging the sprayer nozzle with lime.
In this sense, Burgundy Mixture is a more successful preparation, using soda ash instead of lime. Unlike lime, soda ash, like copper sulfate, dissolves in water with practically no residue, which gives Burgundy mixture a number of advantages over Bordeaux.
First of all, Burgundy Mixture sticks much better and stays longer on treated plant surfaces. To improve the adhesion of fungicidal preparations to plant leaves, milk, skim milk, silicate or casein glue, or soap can be added to the working solutions.
Why can any of the listed substances be added to Burgundy liquid (made from copper sulfate and soda ash), but soap cannot be added to Bordeaux liquid (made from copper sulfate and slaked lime suspension)?
Answer: The calcium contained in Bordeaux liquid forms insoluble compounds with soap (sticky curds/scum), which clog sprayers. There is no calcium in Burgundy liquid, so soap can and should be added to it for stickiness.
